Thomas Schmickl & Martina Szopek are advocating for using autonomous robot swarms for ecosystem monitoring, small-scale intervention and even for large-scale strategic „ecosystem hacking“ in order to help to stop, or at least to slow down, the current ongoing ecosystem decline, which is the 6th big mass extinction in earth's history.
