All of the above is possible - with the help of a robot as a translator: Ronald Thenius, biologist at the university of Graz, is leading an EU project working on the development of "biohybrid" beings to study environmental impacts. This robot is partly consisting of living animals and plants.
The project „Robocoenosis“ also investigates which simple and sustainable sensors can be used in other areas and which creatures could be used as measuring instruments.
