Content: Although there is no consense regarding the amount to which artificial intelligence and robots could replace work, the number of empirical and theoretical research indicating a significant change within the employment structure is increasing. Few studies focus on the short-term consequences for employees. To fill this research gap, we developed an agent-based modell to research current dynamics on the labour market focusing on digital compentences allowing to simulate (mis-)match-situations. This analysis will contribute tp provide political decision-makers with information about the consequences of the digital revolution with respect to the employability of the Austrian work force.
