Cordula Reisch

My name is Cordula Reisch and I am a professor in the Field of Excellence COLIBRI  from 10/2024 to 01/2025.

With a background in mathematics, I work on questions arising from mathematical modeling in the fields of medicine, biology, ecology and physics. Most of my work deals with reaction-diffusion equations leading to either pattern formation or traveling wave phenomena, with applications in the description of inflammatory processes, animal dynamics or the spread of forest fires.

I look forward to working with COLIBRI members during my time here on questions related to the Complexity of Life that may be describable with differential equations.
